I’m the fifteenth tamaiti of eighteen tamariki from my parents Hori Mataki & Mihi Wairua Reiri and

I have five adult tamariki, nine mokopuna & one great mokopuna.
 

I am also an Apotoro Wairua (Spiritual Apostle) under the Ratana Church
 

My background has been mainly working as a counsellor, social worker and group facilitator in both mainstream and Kaupapa Maori services (ie. MSD, CPS, MOJ, CDHB, Te Puna Oranga & the STOP Trust).
 

I’m currently active in the wider community & work part time at Purapura Whetu as a Matanga Maori in ‘the awesome’ Waharoa Team and also bring with me both a Maori cultural/clinical lens & a wealth of knowledge developed over twenty years.
